Priyanka D’Souza (she/her) and her cold, sick and fabulous alter ego, Pinka PopsicKle, is an ‘artistorian’ from Mumbai, and holds an BVA in Painting from M.S. University, Baroda, and an MA in Arts and Aesthetics from JNU, Delhi. In her academic and artistic practice, she works with crip time and protest in ecological re-imaginings, Mughal miniatures, early modern Natural History, and the concept of the ‘ajai’b’ (wondrous/strange), particularly in imaginings of borderlands of nation-empires, and as applied to anomalous/disabled bodies. She is a poet fellow at Zoeglossia ’22, and has been an artist-in-residence at Delfina Foundation, London ’21, and Dara Shikoh Fellow ’16.
