My works depict the issues of mass surveillance and the changing of our landscape with the surveillance elements.
As we all are aware that we are under surveillance wherever we go and whatever we do, our habits are being monitored. Cameras record our actions in public and sometimes also in private places. Our cell phones invade our privacy by disclosing our location, our browsing habits, and with who we communicate. Drones offer a cheap and
easy way to record people in their back yards, in the neighbourhood park and almost everywhere else. The use of this information is in identifying terrorists, but also to intimidate us or to suppress the opposition.
The demolished/destructed buildings strike me reminding me of the time when I was in my hometown village. After many years seeing the demolition of the structures around (globally) because of various reasons the purpose to include fragmentation, manipulating a structure’s surface becomes even more organic as a part of the working
process.
In my works, I depict my interest in conflicts around the world. In my artistic journey, I create unusual war elements, like hybrid drones. Drones have become a mass destruction instrument these days. Even the abandoned and ruined area is under surveillance by drones and AI. Trained as a sculptor, space analysis, and division is an integral part of my study.
I endeavour to create variations on the theme. Photography plays an integral part in my process as a documentary medium (pre- and post-processing), also while drafting the layouts of the projects (as a significant departure).
